PERFORMX CULTURE ASSESSMENT

WHY UNDERSTANDING  CULTURE GOES BEYOND ENGAGEMENT

Employee engagement scores and metrics are great when it comes to understanding how your employees feel – but alone they won’t help you understand why your employees feel the way they do, or provide you with the insights to make meaningful change.

Creating a compelling narrative and case for culture change in an organisation requires deliberate effort. Understanding what’s driving current performance and engagement and what needs to improve to deliver on strategy requires a deep dive into how your organisation currently operates, and a framework for defining what needs to change.

Contrary to some beliefs – organisational culture can be measured. Using the right assessment tools and frameworks to assess

current state culture is the first step to truly understanding your organisation's culture, and more importantly how culture is driving engagement, performance and helping deliver on strategy.

BLUEPRINT

We combine survey data with strategy and performance objectives to create a Culture Blueprint. A Culture Blueprint describes the areas of your culture most critical to enable your strategy.

A Culture Blueprint is very often missing in culture change efforts. When this is absent it impedes the ability of the organisation to focus on what matters most.

A Culture Blueprint is a critical document in reporting culture change progress to the board and executive.

LINKING CULTURE TO PERFORMANCE

Our PerformX Framework® is designed to identify the key cultural practices that drive organisational effectiveness and engagement. It establishes direct links between these practices and specific performance outcomes such as profitability, sales growth, and innovation. By providing a dynamic map of behaviors, mindsets, and capabilities, the framework enables businesses to understand, enhance and maintain overall performance.

The 12 cultural practices are categorised into four domains, encompassing work practices, behaviors, and mindsets that organisations should prioritise in order to enable business success.

Research demonstrates that sustainable performance hinges on the ability of organisations to:

  • Inspire their workforce through a compelling sense of purpose.
  • Deliver exceptional products or services to their customers.
  • Enable their people to reach their full potential and contribute effectively.
  • Adapt swiftly and effectively to internal and external demands and changing conditions.

The PerformX Framework is the culmination of extensive global research, offering a future-focused approach that addresses the evolving requirements of workplace culture in a practical and actionable manner. It equips businesses with the tools to navigate and thrive in a dynamic business landscape.
