    As one of our Grads, you can expect to work on high-impact, meaningful and purpose-led projects from Day 1. Through your hands-on project work, you’ll get significant client exposure and multiple networking opportunities with peers, leaders, and in industry. We’ll provide you with relevant professional training and provide ongoing feedback from your coach to guide you throughout your program, with the chance to learn from and work with industry professionals across the firm.​

SALARY

We offer a competitive salary package of $83,500 including super. As a Graduate you are also eligible for a 20% performance Bonus! We also cover expenses such as your mobile phone.​

WORKREADY PACKAGE


Work Ready Perks: We offer all Graduates $1,000 to be put towards ‘first job costs’ (e.g. professional workwear, and or any working from home or IT facilities you might need).


WELLNESS

There is a fully equipped, free onsite gym available to use weekdays, as well as pilates and boxing classes,  a wellness room and premium end of trip facilities. with bike storage and laundry.


DRESS FOR YOUR DAY

Our choice of dress is a part of how we express ourselves. Our most important job at Spring Point is to delight our clients, challenge ourselves, and learn new things. When you wake up each day, consider the day of work ahead. What will you be doing? Where will you be? Who will you be with?

TOGETHER, EVERYWHERE

Time together and apart is important! We’re hearing loud and clear that our people would like to combine work with travel to spend time with family and friends within Australia and overseas. We offer all our staff the opportunity to work remotely for up to 4 weeks, subject to certain condition, after their first 12 months.

LEAVE

We value the time to recharge our batteries to enable us to bring energy to our work and team. Our generous annual leave policy provides 5 weeks annual leave, including guaranteed leave over Christmas and New Year. Long Service Leave and Sick Leave are all in accordance with industry standards.​

LOCATION, LOCATION

We work in a great shared office space in South Melbourne and work in a truly hybrid and flexible way. The office offers multiple spaces to work how you want, includes free coffee & tea every day, shared breakfasts on Tuesday, and opportuities to socilaise with other office tenants weekly.

If you're completing your studies in mid-to-end 2023 (or, already completed your studies within the last 2 years), and ready to launch your career with us in 2024, this program is for you. You don’t need to be an Australian resident, but you must have full-time working rights within Australia at the time of your application.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES DEVELOPED OVER FOUR MODULES  ​

Graduate consultants in their first year at Spring Point will undertake a period of intensive learning and skill development. You will gain practical experience and exposure to various aspects of consulting and will work on a variety of projects to build well-rounded skill and experience.

  • Client Engagement: As a consultant you will work closely with clients, so you will learn how to effectively engage with clients, understand their needs, and provide valuable solutions. You will learn about how to build and maintain relationships with clients and how to manage client expectations, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.​

  • Teamwork: Consulting projects often involve cross-functional teams. Graduate Consultants learn to work effectively with colleagues, often with diverse backgrounds and skills. You also gain experience in collaborative problem-solving.​

  • Networking: Building a professional network is important in consulting. You will learn how to network within your industry, and among clients to learn how to create opportunities for future projects and growth.​

  • Adaptability: The consulting industry can be fast-paced and dynamic. Graduate Consultants learn to adapt to changing circumstances, client needs, and industry trends.​

  • Ethical and Legal Considerations: Consultants need to be aware of ethical and legal considerations related to their work. 

  • Problem Solving: Graduate Consultants learn to identify and analyse complex business problems, using tools and frameworks that are specific to our industry and develop strategies and recommendations for clients.​

  • Data Analysis and Research: Many consulting projects involve data analysis and research. In your first year, you can expect to improve your skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation. ​

  • Project Management: Project management skills are crucial for consultants. Learning how to manage projects, including scope, timeline, and resources, is an important part of your development. ​

  • Communication and Presentation: Effective communication is key in consulting. You will learn to write reports, make presentations, and communicate findings and recommendations clearly and persuasively to clients and team members.

  • Organisational performance: is a broad and multifaceted concept that assesses how well an organisation is achieving its goals and objectives. It encompasses various aspects of an organisation's operations, and understanding it is crucial for effective management and decision-making. ​

  • Understanding how an organisation operates, is critical to effective consulting practice.  Here you will learn the key things you should know about organisational performance: such as the role that strategy, leadership and culture plays in driving effective organisation performance.

These theories provide a framework for understanding the complexities of organisational leadership. Effective leadership often requires a combination of theories and the ability to adapt to different situations and organisational needs. ​

  • Organisational Development: Knowledge of organisational development theories and practices is important. This can involve organisational design, organisational capabilities and understanding change management and employee engagement strategies.​
